Just a reminder that you still have 10 days to post your entry on the My Besties international challenge blog . You can enter any card you like. The optional theme for this month is " boys will be boys" For a reminder project of this months challenge I made this hexagon with this slingshot Joe image of Sherri Ann Baldy. The image is to be found here . For the background I first put  up some hexagons with texture paste and a mask of Dutch Doobadoo. Then I put two colors of pan pastel on top of it and finished it of with some stamps and a hexagon die cut of Noor! design. To color the digi I used brush markers of Winsor and Newton. August 1st; Time for a new challenge at  my Besties international challenge blog .  Please feel free to enter any project you wish. This month the theme is anything goes with an optional theme BOYS. I choose a My  Bestie image golfer to work with which is to be found  here . For this month I made a cute gift box from a template of Dutch Doobadoo, The digi is colored in sepia colors with Winston and Newton brush markers. While it's hot outside, I'd like to take a dive, won't you? Therefore I enjoyed creating this mermaid card for the My besties International challenge blog . This month you can enter any card you like but the optional theme is under the sea. I used several Dutch Doobadoo mask art stencils to make the background with pan pastel. I colored the my besties image sea shell Susy (which is to be found here)  with my winsor and Newton brush markers. The shell I colored with Colori pearl paint which gives the shell a mother-of-pearl shine (which is hard to get on a picture). To finish off the card I used several cutting dies from the 'under the sea' collection of Noor design and the flowers came out of the one of a kind "spring" collection of Noor design. What better theme you could have for the summer than under the sea? I love it! Therefore I made this card with a lovely mermaid from My besties. The digi is to be found here. I first printed my digi on the paper and colored it with brush markers of winsor and newton. I made a mask to protect my digi and printed the background on top of it. For the background I used two colors of alcohol ink on my gelliplate and a Dutch Doobadoo mask I finished the card with several Noor! design dies fro the serie "under the sea". We had a sunny couple of weeks down here in the Netherlands. I just enjoyed the sun and nature. In the meantime I created a card for the My Besties International challenge  blog. You still have ten days left to enter a card. The theme is anything goes with an optional theme " SUMMER". I made this card. Eventhough I don't drink any coffee at all, I've got lots of friends who can't get through their day without a couple of cups of coffee all year through.  I used the design paper "hug in a mug" by Noor design as well as some Noor design dies for making the flowers. The digi I used is  a fluffy bestie which is to be found here . The easel shaker card is a model which Jolanda Bergmans showed us during a live workshop. June, summer is coming, yet we already had so many hot summer days here in the Netherlands....Time of a new challenge at  my Besties international challenge blog .  Please feel free to enter any project you wish. This month the theme is anything goes with an optional theme SUMMER. I choose a Fluffy  Bestie image to work with which is to be found  here . I For this card  I made a step fold card    I used Winsor&Newton brush markers to colour the image  All the embellishments are cutting dies from the "under the sea" collection of Noor! design together with some little shells. I finished the anchor with a bit of metallic ink from coliro. The beach houses are from the same under the sea collection of Noor! I gave them a bit of colour with Distress ink (stormy sky). For the dolphins I used the same distress ink stormy sky, but I gave them a little extra effect by adding  an Inkssentials "crackle accents" ...
