While it's hot outside, I'd like to take a dive, won't you? Therefore I enjoyed creating this mermaid card for the My besties International challenge blog . This month you can enter any card you like but the optional theme is under the sea. I used several Dutch Doobadoo mask art stencils to make the background with pan pastel. I colored the my besties image sea shell Susy (which is to be found here) with my winsor and Newton brush markers. The shell I colored with Colori pearl paint which gives the shell a mother-of-pearl shine (which is hard to get on a picture). To finish off the card I used several cutting dies from the 'under the sea' collection of Noor design and the flowers came out of the one of a kind "spring" collection of Noor design.
