September 15 STEAMPUNK

The September challenge at My Besties international challenge blog is still going on.
You can enter any card  you like. This month the optional theme is steampunk.

Ass a reminder to this challenge I made this card using  steampunk My besties digi which you can find here. 

I colored the image with my Winsor and Newton Brushmarkers

For the background I used several pieces of craft (12,5x12,5 cm/12x12cm/6,5x15,5cm) which I layered with Noor design paper.  All edges are distressed. I colored the all the design paper softly with a brown distress ink (vintage photo). then I used a transparent texture paste matte (Ranger) to put some details on the paper using a Dutch Doobadoo mask. To give it all an extra vintage look I put a vintage collage medium (Ranger) on top of all of it. 

For the embellishments I used several Noor design die cuts which I gave the same treatment as I did the Design paper, but also put some Shine pigment powder (Copper red) on top to finish it off.  For the sentiment I typed the words on the computer, printed it, used the same brush markers as I used for coloring my image.
